2026/10/23The Internet Has Been Pretty Rough Lately, Huh? 🐸
This article explains how to address frequent “Lag skip” issues when using Baberuppa. If translation skips occur too often, you can adjust the lag_skip_threshold setting in config.yaml from 5 seconds to 10 seconds to reduce the frequency of translation skips. Alternatively, setting the value to 0 disables translation skipping entirely, which may be useful when occasional translation delays are acceptable. If the issue is caused by an unstable or overloaded internet connection, restarting your modem or router and disabling Wi-Fi or Ethernet power-saving features may also help improve stability. Learn how to adjust Baberuppa’s settings and troubleshoot network-related delays for a smoother experience when watching overseas livestreams with translated subtitles.
